The online version of the new official Lay Servant Ministries course, Loving People and Planet in the Name of God, is open for enrollment! This is a great resource based on the previous UMW/United Women in Faith course Climate Justice.
The Northern Illinois Net-Zero Task Force is working to offer it in the 2023-24 program year in each district's Lay Academy. The online course is a great way to prepare.
> Are you willing to help lead an in-person session of this course in your district? Please email Beth Galbreath.

At Annual Conference you may see NetZero Task Group folks wearing strange striped neckscarves.
These are a graphic display of increasing global temperatures from 1850 to 2020, with the crossover from blue to red, not at "pre-industrial" times but in the 1970s.
