The Struggle with Palm Oil

At Christmas I tried - I really, really tried - to find sugarfree whipped topping without palm oil.

I need sugar-free because of family sensitivities to sugar; hence my reluctance to whip my own cream.

I wanted palm-oil-free because of my growing awareness of the environmental and social devastation caused by palm oil plantations.

I failed. But here is an excellent article, both about the issue and practical lists of products and companies to look for. Patronizing good companies helps!
