Richard Alton, Chair 

Richard Alton is a member of the One Earth Film Festival, Green Community Connections and Interfaith Green Network. He is active in the Green Energy Team of Euclid Avenue UMC, where "living green" is part of the expectation for all members. Ask him about anything! 

Harriette Cross

Rev. Harriette Cross is the Northern Illinois Conference's first official Earthkeeper. She launched a project called "No Away in Throw-Away," enabling folks to recycle furniture and clothing locally. Check the link for the next Earthkeeper training

Beth Galbreath

Rev. Beth Galbreath is a five-decade environmental activist, UMC deacon, biblical storyteller and online teacher. And, oh yes, tech person for the Eco-Net and solar enthusiast.

Victoria Biel

Victoria Biel is passionate about native plants and butterfly gardens, and delicious food that is gentle on the earth to produce, the vegan way. Check out her extensive food blog here!

Bill Koehl is a member of the Unitarian Universalist faith tradition, and is passionate about environmental justice.

Melissa Brice

Melissa Brice is a member of Urban Village UMC and an environmental activist, working to create a fund that avoids investment in fossil fuels as an option in the Northern Illinois United Methodist Foundation.

Rev. Michael Mann is pastor of St. Andrew's UMC in Carol Stream, and a solar enthusiast.

Phyllis Tholin

Phyllis is a member of United Church of Rogers Park, a congregation with a wonderful teaching garden for the community and two rain gardens. She's passionate about environmental action!
